Building Mission
The Bosson Clan is now building approximately 2,188 sq feet (living area) house utilizing Rastra material. It will look like three houses interconnected with each other. The entry is from west and the view of the Blanco river is east (back of the house).
Wife and I have been looking for environmentally friendly
and energy efficient house of which we can be proud to call a HOME. After much research we learned and liked the Rastra
concept. In
short, Rastra is made of recycled Styrofoam and special concrete
mix. It was fortunate for us that we found an architect and house
builder familiar with the Rastra concept.
Living Architecture of Austin is building the house. Marley Porter designed our house.
Derek Demerie
is the construction manager and we're fortunate to have this tireless Aggie
graduate who cares about our needs.
